Wine tasting comes to Walthamstow

A popular wine shop and café in Walthamstow Village will soon host a summer tasting session dedicated to orange wine.

Budding sommeliers and wine devotees in Walthamstow can soon attend a tasting event entitled “Discover Orange Wine”. The evening occasion will be held at local wine store HomeTipple and led by Mikey Studer who will teach participants all they need to know about this much-loved wine.

Shops selling wine and other alcoholic beverages often rely on experience printing services to create branded signage for their premises displaying information like age restrictions.

The upcoming event is part of Hometipple’s Tuesday Wine Tastings collection and runs from 7 pm to 8.30 pm. An informal session, the tasting is designed to introduce guests to orange wine, a wine category swiftly becoming more popular and one suited to the warmer months of the year ahead. Studer is a WSET qualified owner and an obsessive when it comes to wine and spirits.

The session includes a welcome drink, plus four top-quality glasses for each person. There will also be the opportunity to buy take-home bottles and enjoy after session drinks in the bar.

The Discover Orange Wine tasting evening will take place at Hometipple on Tuesday, July 9. The shop is situated on Walthamstow Village’s Orford Road. The venue is just seven minutes walking from Walthamstow Central tube and admission is priced between £17.50 and £25.
