A special event combing an acoustic set and interview will take place in Walthamstow later this year.
This November, popular social club the Walthamstow Trades Hall will be hosting an event entitled “The Tales from The Wedding Present - David Gedge in conversation with Terry de Castro”.
Organised by the Walthamstow Rock 'n' Roll Book Club, the event honours the return of Leeds musician David Gedge, known for his singing and song writing for the band The Wedding Present. The event has been arranged to mark the publication of the second volume in Gedge’s official autobiography called ‘Something and Nothing’. The book is set to be released by publisher Scopitones on November 11. Expert printing services are often called upon to produce multiple Copies of Books, from biographies to works of fiction.
The upcoming event will feature an exclusive acoustic music set and a question-and-answer session with Gedge and his long-term musical collaborator, Terry Castro. Together, the two associates have penned the stories featured in the new volume which were originally only available in a comic book series called “Tales from The Wedding Present”, illustrated by artist Lee Thacker.
The Tales from The Wedding Present event will now take place at Walthamstow Trades Hall, located at 61 to 63 Tower Hamlets Road in Walthamstow, London on Thursday, November 17. The event will start at 7pm and end at 11pm.
