A venue in Walthamstow is set to host a band playing an eclectic mix of musical styles.
The Walthamstow Trades Hall has announced it will be playing host to the band Someone and The Somethings this summer. Local venues putting on live musical shows and other types of events, sometimes employ professional poster printing services to create colourful advertisements that invite members of the community to attend.
Led by guitarist Dale Harris, Someone and The Somethings have earned a reputation for performing a wide range of musical styles like mod, R&B, and rock and roll, with songs sourced from eras stretching from the ‘50s to the ‘90s. The who band sing and harmonise creating faithful sounds from every musical age they play hits from.
Based in East London, the band’s extensive live cover version catalogue includes timeless songs from award-winning bands and artists, and has seen them play private parties, corporate events, and weddings.
Tracks played by the group include “Bad Moon Rising” by Creedence Clearwater Revival, “Jumping Jack Flash” by the Rolling Stones and “She’s a Woman” by the Beatles, among many others.
Someone and The Somethings will now play Walthamstow Trades Hall, located at 61 to 63 Tower Hamlets Road in Walthamstow on Saturday, July 16. The show will begin at 8:30 pm and end at 11:45 pm.
