Walthamstow to welcome improv theatre

An all-star show featuring improvisational comedy is coming to a Walthamstow theatre in October.

Presented by Berk’s Nest, a show called “Kool Story Bro” will soon be on stage at a local venue. The autumn event is helmed by Kiell Smith-Bynoe of BBC’s Ghosts fame and features a team of other talented comics.

The show unites artful comics and special guests to transform stories suggested by the audience into improvised scenes. Smith-Bynoe will be accompanied by expert improvisers like Nic Sampson and Lola-Rose Maxwell (Starstruck), Robert Gilbert (Big Boys), Graham Dickson (Afterlife), Emma Sidi (Taskmaster) and Emily Lloyd-Saini (Mock The Week).

Previous cast additions have included singer songwriter Lily Allen and fellow Ghosts alumni Matthew Baynton and Charlotte Ritchie. Dubbed world class improvisers by UK arts and culture website Corr Blimey, the show comes to Walthamstow following successful city performances in Edinburgh and Brighton.

Kiell Smith-Bynoe & Friends - Kool Story Bro will now be live on stage in the auditorium of the Soho Theatre on Saturday, October 4. The show is 130 minutes long and suitable for those aged 16 and over. Tickets are priced at £24 per person and the theatre is sited at 186 Hoe Street in Walthamstow.
