A special seasonal running event dubbed the Santa Dash will be held around the Town Hall in Walthamstow in December.
Families and solo entries alike of all skill levels are invited to take part in a two lap course dressed as Santa Claus, with the chance to win medals and festive-themed prizes on the day.
For an entry fee of £10, each runner entering the race will receive their own Santa suit that includes a hat, belt and beard and chipped racing number. Santa suits are provided in two sizes, child and adult and family tickets are available at £30 for parties of four that include at least one person younger than 16.
Organisers of festive runs can benefit from banner printing services to create outdoor advertisements on race days to welcome those taking part.
The run will take place over a variety of different terrain including turf, tarmac and athletic track located around Waltham Forest Town Hall on Forest Road. The course will be well signposted with arrows and markers will show each kilometre covered.
Runners will be chip-timed and a goody bag and race medal will be awarded to the first five male and female entrants completing the course.
On race day, registration will begin at 9:30am with a monitored baggage drop made available at the race hub for personal effects. The Santa Dash will start at 10:30am on December 7.
