What's Happening in London - Walthamstow, England…

Walthamstow opens new venue with hit show

A comedy drama enjoying sold-out shows is coming to a brand-new theatre in Walthamstow this spring.

May will see the East London suburb enjoy the opening of the Soho Theatre and its stage will be presenting “Natalie Palamedies: WEER”.

The 85-minute-long production has already experienced critical success and will be one of the new venue’s first shows. The theatrical tour-de-force is arriving in Walthamstow for a short run following sold-out stints in Edinburgh and at the Dean Street Soho Theatre in central London.

Last year, the Guardian newspaper counted the ‘dramedy’ as one of its top 10 comedy productions, commenting:

“Outrageously entertaining… endlessly inventive… unforgettable.”

London venues such as this will often look to dependable banner printing services to produce special signage for events like grand openings that feature brand colours.

Only five minutes on foot from Walthamstow Central underground station, the new venue is just 20 minutes from the centre of London via the Victoria Line making it easy to access for theatregoers in the capital.

Natalie Palamides: WEER will now be on stage in the main auditorium of Soho Theatre Walthamstow from Friday, May 2 to Saturday, May 10. Tickets for the show are only available for those aged 18 and over, priced at £25. Once open, the theatre will operate at 186 Hoe Street in Walthamstow.
