A London Wildlife trust site in Walthamstow has launched a programme for young nature lovers to get hands-on outdoors.
For a limited period, Walthamstow Wetlands will be running a unique initiative in 2023 called the Nature Tots Forest School Programme. Designed for preschool children aged between 18 months and five years old, Nature Tots is designed to both inspire and engage young people and their parent and carers with our natural world through a series of outdoor activities related to wildlife.
Organisations presenting educational experiences and opportunities often look to specialist brochure printing services to produce informative Booklets for those who wish to participate.
During the event, children can investigate their natural surroundings in Walthamstow to discover the different habitats and animals around them. A diverse range of activities is planned, including woodland games, minibeast hunting, nature crafts and music. Nature Tots is specifically designed to help children to develop their emotional wellbeing and confidence, and access skills for independent learning, like working with others, problem solving, and creativity.
All adults and children joining Nature Tots should dress for the weather. The programme runs regardless of whether it is raining or sunny however, severe conditions can result in session cancellations.
The Nature Tots Forest School Programme will run every Friday between 10 am and 12 pm up until July 14 this year at Walthamstow Wetlands.Get a Free Quote for Booklets
