Walthamstow nature reserve announces Christmas event

The home of wildlife in Waltham Forest, the Walthamstow Wetlands has unveiled a unique opportunity for the festive season.

Bordering the river Lea, Walthamstow Wetlands is part of the London Wildlife Trust. Now the respected nature preserve will be celebrating Christmas in its own unique style and is inviting young nature lovers to participate.

The Wetlands will be hosting an original Santa Claus experience that comes with a wildlife twist. Those attending will get the chance for a meet and greet with the man in the red suit that comes complete with a photo opportunity to create a Christmas keepsake to treasure.

The experience also includes a special gift and a fully interactive storytelling session that has wildlife theme. This part of the event will take place within the Engine House visitor centre. From national parks to recreation centres, organisers of seasonal events will sometimes use professional brochure printing services to detail all activities taking place.

The interactive session offers children around 30 minutes with Santa and adults accompanying child visitors will not need to pay admission. Babes held in arms will also enjoy free entrance to the event. The Walthamstow Santa experience will take place at Walthamstow Wetlands located at 2 Forest Road in Walthamstow from Saturday, December 3 to Saturday, December 24.

Tickets are priced at £15 per child.
