Walthamstow will soon welcome back a seasonal photography course that has proved popular for years.
The Walthamstow & District Photographic Society has announced this year it is once again hosting its sought-after Summer Photography course. Designed to help snappers in the area improve their photography, the six-week course is held annually. In 2024, the educational opportunity was oversubscribed so those wishing to participate are being advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
Photographers and photography studios often work closely with professional Print shops that can create high-resolution and large format Copies of their work for sale.
This year, the course is running on Monday evenings with sessions starting at 8 pm and ending at 10 pm. Attendees will get a chance to connect with people who share their passion for taking pictures while learning new skills via talks and practical sessions that boost confidence when using a camera.
Offering a supportive learning environment the summer programme is suitable for novice photographers, but also improvers and people returning to the art after a long break.
Starting on Monday, June 30, the course will run for six weeks at the Walthamstow and District Photographic Society based at the Quaker Meeting House at 1a Jewel Road in Walthamstow.
Admission to enrol is charged at £67.99 per person. All tickets include a 2025 membership to the Walthamstow & District Photographic Society which has a value of £40.
