New homes for Walthamstow

A significant investment will see hundreds of new rental home built in Walthamstow.

Specialist real estate development, investment, and management company, Long Harbour, is now set to begin construction on a residential project in Walthamstow. The scheme will see 495 new homes built for private rent at the firm’s latest development site in the town centre. Developers and construction firms often employ professional printing services to represent designs and Plans for their project when submitting them to local communities and authorities.

The project marks the first deal in a joint venture that includes Long Harbour, Cadillac Fairview, and PSP Investments. Based in the heart of Walthamstow on Selbourne Road, the development is located next to the 17&Central Shopping Centre. Long Harbour acquired the site recently from after exchanging contracts in 2020 and the scheme will be delivered by Tide Construction Ltd.

The new development will be made up of two towers, 34 and 27 floors, consisting of one and two-bedroom flats. The towers are set to be joined by a large ground floor entranceway and amenities space that will include a public-access reception with a lounge area, dedicated concierge, and ground floor café. The project is aligned with the joint partnership’s set ESG targets including the use of low-carbon construction materials and the measurement of carbon footprints over the building period.

The joint project represents a £260 million investment from the partners.
