Metal festival scheduled for Walthamstow

A popular venue in Walthamstow is welcoming back a music festival dedicated to underground bands playing heavy metal.

Walthamstow metalheads will be pleased to hear that the Life After Death festival is making a comeback for 2025. Once more, the major gathering for metal music lovers will take place at Walthamstow Trades Hall over two consecutive days, and is presented by London record store Crypt of the Wizard.

Available admission includes weekend tickets and the alternative “die-hard” weekend tickets, which include an enamel pin, a Life After Death T-shirt and a photo zine. Event organisers often work with dedicated printers to produce affordable Promotional Products they can package with VIP tickets.

Those attending will get a chance to witness some of the capital’s underground bands playing their own unique brand of heavy metal as well as groups from overseas. Previous acts at the event have included death metal bands like Death and alternative metal ensemble Vacuous.

The Life After Death 2 event will now take place at the Walthamstow Trades Hall from Friday, February 28 to Saturday, March 1. The venue is situated at 61-63 Tower Hamlets Road in Walthamstow, London, and the event is suitable for people aged 18 and over.

Doors to the event will open at 1 pm and the show will start from 2 pm on both days.
