Festive Walthamstow party to feature live music

An all-girl band will be playing live at an upcoming Christmas event taking place in Walthamstow.

Fans of live music looking for a seasonal event in Walthamstow won’t want to miss “The Electric Landladies Christmas Party”. Taking place at the Walthamstow Trades Hall this December, the event will feature one of the UK capital’s most celebrated live party bands, The Electric Landladies.

Musical groups who perform at parties often order professional branded Business Cards they can hand out to clients and venues to fill out their calendar of appearances.

The Electric Landladies feature Rachael Calladine on lead vocals, Diane McLoughlin on keyboards and saxophone, Jenny Carr on backing vocals and keyboards, Deirdre Cartwright on lead guitar, Michele Drees on drums and Alison Rayner on bass guitar and backing vocals.

The band has appeared at major venues like the Dome and the Forum, Spitalfields Festival and Rich Mix. Their show at the reopening of the Stoke Newington Town Hall proved so popular that around 300 people had to be turned away.

Those attending the party can expect to hear live renditions of classic anthems sourced from the past five decades from artists like Beyonce, Gloria Gayner, Bon Jovi, Blondie, Free, Chic and The Communards.

The Electric Landladies Christmas Party will be held at Walthamstow Trades Hall on Saturday, December 2. The venue is located at 61-63 Tower Hamlets Road, in Walthamstow, London.
