Eco-bonfire celebration bound for Walthamstow

Walthamstow is hosting an environmentally conscious celebration this year to mark Guy Fawkes weekend.

This November in Walthamstow, Guildhall Live Events is running a three-day event at Fellowship Square. An eco-friendlier occasion compared to traditional fireworks nights, the Waltham Forest Light Show Spectacular promises plenty of entertainment for all ages.

Organisers of community events often work with dedicated poster printing services to create engaging ads they can post in libraries, schools and other local hubs and encourage participation.

The winter event will see fire effects, projections and lights illuminate the Waltham Forest Town Hall’s stately façade while a live musical performance provides an original soundtrack. A wide assortment of different street performers has been booked to entertain, including artists from Drum Works and Fool’s Paradise. The event will also feature a selection of food and drink.

With support from a network of technical experts, creative talents and producers, the interactive and immersive cultural experience is led by artists Amelia Kosminsky and Zarah Hussain and Dan Shorten, the creative director for Guildhall Live Events among others.

The Waltham Forest Light Show Spectacular will launch on Friday, November 3 and runs until Sunday, November 5 at Fellowship Square in Walthamstow. Adult tickets for the event are available at £8.50. All attending adults can be accompanied by up to two children aged 12 or under who enjoy free entry.
