East London agents reveal homebuyer stats

Estate agents based in Walthamstow have spoken out on those taking up residence in the local area.

East London’s Walthamstow has made a name for itself as a fashionable location to live within the UK capital. Now, local estate agents have commented that house prices are spiking as a result and the locale is welcoming an influx of younger residents.

Letting agencies often look to professional printing services to create plush Brochures advertising the properties they offer.

The increase in young people moving to Walthamstow is credited to a desire to be close to friends who are already residents, with one estate agent, Mikheal Brown, telling MyLondon.news that the surge has largely been driven by word of mouth. However, the London district has much to offer young homeowners. From its thriving arts scene and numerous live music venues to its renowned outdoor market (the longest street market in Europe) that has stood for over a hundred years, there are countless opportunities for activities around Walthamstow.

The majority of property sales within the area since last year were terraced houses, selling on average with a price tag of around £790,000. Semi-detached properties typically fetch around £800,000 while flats tend to sell for amounts in the £420,000 region.

Overall, Walthamstow estate agents state that house prices in the area are on the rise and show no sign of slowing, and note that the ages of people moving to the area right now are mostly between 27 and 38.
