Childrens event to come to Walthamstow

A community hub in Walthamstow will be presenting special activities for younger residents of the area throughout autumn and winter this year.

Walthamstow Library will host two series designed for children, with sessions running throughout October, November and December. Dubbed “Stories and Rhymes” and “Kids Art Club”, the events are designed for different age groups.

Organisers of children’s events sometimes use flyer printing services to produce eye-catching leaflets they can display in civic centres like libraries and town halls, to encourage families to take part.

Making a welcome return, Stories and Rhymes is designed for children under the age of five and their parents and carers. The sessions will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays each week at the library between 11.30 am and 12 pm. Those attending can join the library team in a singalong featuring popular children’s tunes like Wheels on the Bus, Okey Cokey and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

The Kids Art Club is suitable for all ages and is designed to inspire young people to get creative. Featuring hands-on activities, attendees are encouraged to express themselves through arts and crafts. The one-hour-long events are held on Saturdays and Sundays at the library.

The Walthamstow Library is located on the High Street in Walthamstow, and both of these events are completely free for all to attend.
