The relocation of the organisation to a new football hub will take place after the necessary work is completed. Almost £5 million could be spent on the Rectory Park development. Newsletter printing in Hayes can be used when MFA has settled into its new home. The move should be finished by early next year.
The Football Association’s Kelly Simmons MBE explained:
“This signifies an exciting chapter in the history of Middlesex FA, who will now become custodians of the centre for the benefit of thousands of people right across the county.”
Simmons has been important in driving the popularity of women’s football. She is currently a director for development and participation at the FA. As a result, she wants the Rectory Park initiative to help with the growth of recreational sport for everyone. Nonetheless, she does continue to back the evolution of women’s football.
John Taylor, the chairperson of MFA, has said how pleased he is to be working with the Football Association and Ealing. This partnership approach should deliver the development of Rectory Park.
Taylor has stressed how the project will assist players with different levels of skill. MFA used to be based within Roxburgh Road which is situated in Harrow. The new arrangement will incorporate two pitches, a pavilion, community rooms and changing facilities.
