Famous footballer sets date for Hayes

An entertainment venue Hayes is hosting a legendary football player who is revered for bringing England victory in 1966.

Football fans in Hayes will get a final chance to engage with the sport’s iconic player, Sir Geoff Hurst this year. The star striker is coming to the West London suburban town as part of his farewell tour and will be joined by Terry Baker, his agent and long-standing friend.

Sports agents often carry branded Business Cards that feature the agency’s emblem and key contact details for distributing at meetings and networking engagements.

The upcoming event in Hayes will see Hurst recount tales from his illustrious career at West Ham and playing for the England team. In 1966, he helped them win the World Cup when he scored a hat trick of goals. Born in Lancashire’s Ashton-under-Lyne in 1941, in 49 England games he scored a total of 24 goals. Prior to football, he was a keen cricketer and distinguished himself on the Essex team in 1962.

The second part of the event will see Baker interview Hurst while he answers questions presented by the audience.

Sir Geoff Hurst will now take to the stage of the Beck Theatre on Sunday, March 1. The theatre is on Grange Road in Hayes, and the event is suited to those aged 14 and up. VIP tickets are also available that let bearers enjoy a meet and greet.
