A show paying tribute to an acclaimed musician from Texas is coming to Hayes this summer.
Music fans in the area can celebrate what would have been Roy Orbison’s 90th birthday and his 70 years of platinum hits with a top tribute. A show called Barry Steele’s Roy Orbison Story is headed for town and will encompass the music icon’s solo career and time performing with supergroup extraordinaire, The Travelling Wilburys.
The production has been especially put together to mark the major rock and roll milestone.
Tribute acts sometimes carry professionally designed Business Cards that bear their likeness and key contact details for client communications.
On the night, Steele will take Orbison devotees on a nostalgic trip featuring iconic songs ranging from upbeat classics to haunting ballads. Tracks performed during the show may include favourites like Oh, Pretty Woman, In Dreams, Only the Lonely, Blue Bayou, Crying and You Got It, among others.
From touring throughout Europe and New Zealand to performing in the West End, Steele and his live band have earned standing ovations and rave reviews.
Barry Steele's Roy Orbison Story will now be performed at the Beck Theatre on Saturday, July 11. The show is 140 minutes in length and will include an interval. The venue can be found on Grange Road in Hayes, and the performance is suited to audience members aged 12 and over.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
