Hayes to host spring nature trail

A guided walk in the woods will take place in Hayes this springtime, offering nature lovers a chance to get a glimpse of the beloved British bloom.

Those looking for fresh air, exercise and springtime sights in Hayes this April won’t want to miss an upcoming event taking place in the area. Dubbed the “Bluebell Guided Walk at Gutteridge Wood”, the event is a guided excursion through the natural beauty spot in Hayes to appreciate a spectacular display of the famed flower as it comes into bloom.

The walk will be led by Hillingdon’s Ranger Pete, and is presented by Wild London, part of the London Wildlife Trust. Gutteridge Wood is a London nature reserve that is supported and protected by the conservation efforts of the Trust.

Organisations and nature trusts hosting activities sometimes use brochure printing services to produce informative Booklets that elicit public interest in events.

Those attending the walk can stroll around leafy Gutteridge Wood and Gutteridge Meadows while enjoying the spring bluebells - for free. However, donations are welcome, and will be given to the Wildlife Trust.

The guided walk will start at the meeting point of Lynhurst Crescent in Hayes on Saturday, April 20. The walk begins at 2pm and ends at 4pm, and is suitable for people aged 11 and over, with all children attending to be accompanied by an adult.
