The NEC hosts The Clothes Show again

The NEC in Birmingham is putting on The Clothes Show (TCS) once again.

TCS has been scheduled for early December and has taken place at Birmingham’s NEC for over a quarter of a century. Printing services in South Birmingham may be used to promote the show.

Kathryn James, a director at the NEC, told the Birmingham Mail:

“We are proud to have contributed to the success of The Clothes Show and to have hosted such a significant event in popular culture over the last 27 years.”

The Haymarket Media Group (HMG) has been responsible for making the event a success in the past. However, it wants to take TCS in a new direction next year. Part of this strategy is about relocating the show to Liverpool.

Nonetheless, HMG will work with the NEC to achieve a positive outcome in Birmingham this winter. The show is going ahead with the association of Alcatel and will include a wide range of activities. Ms James has wished HMG all the best with its future ventures.

TCS was launched back in 1989 and soon obtained a national audience. Furthermore, it managed to attract ample footfall. Eventually, it became a beauty and fashion event of European significance. This was partly achieved because of television coverage in the early years of the show. The BBC was instrumental in getting the ball rolling.
