Solihull set to sample delights of food festival
Solihull Food Festival, presented by Solihull BID, is due to be held in the town over three days in mid-October.
This Festival has emerged as a much anticipated and popular regional event. It serves up a wide selection of street food, tempting sweets as well as gourmet offerings. Visitors can expect a combination of favourite local dishes, new tastes and a variety of drinks together with a host of food activities, such as Dino Bake Offs.
There will also be celebrity cooks present, including the 'Yummy Brummie' Glynn Purnell and the multiple Michelin-starred chef Aktar Islam, who will be eager to share their culinary knowledge on the stage in Mell Square. They will also participate in a Q&A session where attendees can ask questions of the experts.
The live musical entertainment cones from Richard Keogh, Red Human Beings, Sean Reeves, Reggae Matic, the Rock Choir and Sing Solihull, amongst others.
Family fun events such as Hula Hoop Workshops all add to the creation of a friendly atmosphere, so there should be something for everyone to enjoy.
Entry is free. Business card printing can be a useful resource for anyone engaged in both food production and the promotion of the industry as a whole.
