Sheffield to hear English music icons

A jazz-funk band from the Isle of Wight are Sheffield will be playing a concert in Sheffield this autumn.

Fans of chart hits and British jazz funk in Sheffield will get a chance to see Level 42 live on stage when they play City Hall in October. Performing and recording since 1979 the band has stood the test of time and continues to enjoy praise from critics and audiences alike.

Promoters of nationwide musical tours often employ specialist flyer printing services to produce enticing adverts for the artists they represent and spread word of upcoming gigs in local areas.

Led by Mark King on bass and lead vocals, Level 42 are a prolific act and have released seven live albums, 14 studio albums, six compilations and an EP to date. They have had almost 20 top 40 hits singles which include “Something About You”, “Running in the Family”, “Leaving Me Now”, “Hot Water” and the world-famous “Lessons in Love”.

Over the years the band sold out the celebrated venue Wembley Arena for 21 nights in total and sold more than 30 million records worldwide.

Level 42 will now perform a live set at Sheffield City Hall on Monday, October 16. The venue can be found at Barker's Pool in the city centre of Sheffield and the gig will start at 6.30 pm and end at 10.30 pm.
