A school in Sheffield is presenting a practical course this winter that lets attendees make their own silver jewellery.
Skilled silversmith, Victoria Kershaw is holding a single day event in Sheffield called the “Silver Jewellery Making Course”. The educational experience gives enrolees a chance to get hands on and craft jewellery from gemstones and silver.
Professional silversmiths and other artisans and craftspeople sometimes rely on dedicated business card printing services to create contact cards they can hand out to new clients and customers.
Those attending the experience will learn traditional techniques used to make jewellery. These include, silver soldering, polishing, hand forming and texturing to create a unique and bespoke item to wear. The complete day course provides enough time to fashion a piece that can feature a single gemstone.
The Silver Jewellery Making Course will now be held at the Silver Psaltpot on Sunday, February 1. The silver jewellery making school is situated at 3 Brincliffe Crescent in Sheffield and costs £100 per person to attend. The course starts at 10 am and ends at 4 pm and silver and gemstones for jewellery can be bought on the day with the average spend being £5 to £10.
A vegan lunch as well as unlimited biscuits, tea and coffee are included in the price of admission and free parking is available for participants.
