The world’s first ever stage adaptation of a beloved British murder mystery show will arrive in Sheffield this winter.
Sheffield residents looking for mystery and thrills to ward of the winter chills can enjoy a world premiere at Lyceum Theatre in November. The city’s popular playhouse is welcoming a stage show based on the acclaimed ITV series Midsomer Murders, which stars actor John Nettles as DCI Tom Barnaby.
Entitled “Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger’s Drift” the play promises to recreate all the intrigue and entertainment of the hit programme that launched in 1987 and is still in production now with a new episode airing earlier this year.
Theatres putting on productions often call upon specialist poster printing services to create attractive playbills that advertise to members of the public.
Based on the pilot episode of Midsomer Murders, the stage show has all the hallmarks of a traditional whodunnit from exciting twists and eccentric characters to a thrilling reveal. In a tale of murder and suspense in a fictional rural village in Buckingham, audiences will discover lethal rivalries, buried secrets and hidden passions as DCI Barnaby and Sergeant Troy investigate.
Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger’s Drift will be on stage at the Lyceum Theatre from Tuesday, November 25 to Saturday, November 29. The Sheffield theatre is easy to find at 55 Norfolk Street.
