The GlastonBeoley Festival was first launched five years ago and takes its name from the famous Glastonbury Festival. It was created by Debbie Joynes with the twin aim of raising cash for charities in Redditch and giving families in the town something to take their children to during the summer. It has a vibe that is child-friendly, including entertainment aimed at youngsters as part of the line-up.
This year’s event will feature stalls that sell special festival-themed outfits and gifts, as well as a beer tent, a bar that offers gin and wine and street food offerings. The venue for it will be Redditch Cricket, Hockey, Rugby and Squash Club, with Joynes telling the Redditch Standard that:
“We couldn’t be more delighted to be in such a central Redditch location for 2023. With access to buses, taxis and trains – as well as ample parking – everything is in place for what we expect to be a record-breaking event.”
Poster printing from shops in Redditch is one way that the people organising this festival could advertise it when it gets nearer the time.
The GlastonBeoley Festival 2023 will take place on 30th June and 1st July.
