Barnet Vegan Market, after a lengthy break, will return at the end of May.
Near enough to Potters Bar to attract locals, this should have widespread appeal, not only to people who already practice veganism, but also to those who simply wish to learn more about a subject that for many ties in with climate responsibility and ethical living.
The market features around 20 stalls, some of them charitable, that sell a wide variety of ethical and wholly sustainable goods and food products. These are presented and supplied by local firms, as well as by leading artisans from outside the area, and all are carefully chosen for their quality.
There will be a large selection of vegan fast food on offer including artisan savoury dishes, healthy options, craft made cheeses and sweet bakes, along with a range of eco-style brands, ethically sourced clothing, premium cosmetics, craft items and jewellery, all plastic-free.
Entry is free and those wanting to trade and host a stall should contact the organisers. The event is COVID-19 compliant, with are vendors appropriately spaced. Print shops can be a valuable asset when it comes to organising local community and commercial activities.
Barnet Vegan Market will take between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 30 at The Spires Shopping Centre Barnet, close to Potters Bar.
