A show dedicated to an iconic electric guitar will be on stage in Potters Bar this year.
Guitarists and music enthusiasts in Potters Bar can attend a show described as unique, entertaining, and innovative this autumn. Titled: “50 Years of Fender – The Stratocaster Story”, the experience combines an informative history of one of the world’s most famous guitars with a live rock concert.
The show tells the intriguing tale of Fender’s Stratocaster and has sold out multiple venues across the country. Organisers of touring music shows sometimes order branded Promotional Products they can use as cost-conscious giveaways.
The performance shines a spotlight on five key decades in the iconic instrument’s 70-year history. Instead of simple words, the “Strat’s” story is told using world-renowned songs from some of the biggest artists in music. Fender Stratocaster playing guitarists whose work is featured in the show include Hank Marvin, Eric Clapton, Buddy Holly, Jimi Hendrix, Bryan Adams and Chris Rea, to name but a few.
Designed in 1954 by Leo Fender, Freddie Tavares, George Fullerton, and Bill Carson, the Stratocaster revolutionised popular music with unique-for-there time features including a contoured body, synchronised tremolo system and three-pickup layout.
50 Years of Fender – The Stratocaster Story will now be at Wyllyotts Theatre on Friday, September 18. The show begins at 7.30 pm, and the theatre is at Wyllyotts Place on Darkes Lane in Potters Bar.
