Stand-up show “The Best in Comedy” is due to make its return to Potters Bar towards the end of September this year.
On the bill is a group of some of this country's leading comedians. These include Paul Chowdhry, Janine Harouni, Sean McLoughlin and Matt Richardson.
Paul Chowdhry a well-known British-Indian stand-up comic. Critics have hailed him as inventive with an eclectic set, interspersed by mimicry. One of his most notable achievements has been selling out Wembley Arena's 10,000-seat capacity.
Lebanese-American writer and comic, Janine Harouni, stars in the sitcom 'Buffering' on ITV2. She also wrote for and performed in ITV 2's 'The Emily Atack Show'. Her other TV credits include 'The Russell Howard Hour’.
Sean McLoughlin is a London-based comedian and writer, and has appeared on 'Mock the Week' and 'Live at The Apollo'. McLoughlin recently acted as support for Ricky Gervais on his latest international tour.
The evening's compere is Matt Richardson. This multi-award-winning stand-up and star of 'Dancing on Ice' has also hosted 'The X-Factor'. He has also appeared on 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' and 'Celebrity Juice'.
