Potters Bar to revisit the sounds of the 60s

The tribute show The Bootleg Sixties is on tour and due to give a performance in Potters Bar at the end of October.

This theatrical event features the sounds of one of modern popular culture's most innovative decades, the 1960s, as well as film and images from the era. It seeks to recreate that distinctive atmosphere with back-dropped footage and 1000 or more images of groups, clothes, advertisements and art as part of the two-hour stage show.

The band Overtures will perform the songs of the era and act as the guide for the musical odyssey. These include tracks by such well-known artists as The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel and Jimi Hendrix. They are widely recognised for the quality of their musical renditions, and have played for the likes of Paul McCartney, Elton John and Elvis Costello.

The last six years have seen the show revamped becoming one of the most successful of its type in Holland and Belgium and is now due for a return to the UK. It should appeal to a broad spectrum of people, including dedicated fans of 60s culture.

Tickets cost £26.00 and may be subject to a booking fee. Graphic design plays a significant role in the production of a large stage show or musical event.

The Bootleg Sixties has a starting time of 7.30pm on Thursday 27th October at Wyllyotts Theatre, Potters Bar.
