A rock tribute show laced with satire will be on stage at a venue in Potters Bar this autumn.
Fans of the Rolling Stones looking for laughs in the area are in luck. This October, the Counterfeit Stones will play live at a local venue, and tickets are now on sale. Self-styled as the world’s second greatest rock and roll band, the tribute act are renowned for their faithful impersonation of “The Stones” on stage, but also for their “Spinal Tap-style” humour.

Now entering their 34th year playing together, the Counterfeit Stones have become a legend in their own right. Stones devotees will find the band mimicking the voices and musicianship of Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts, among others, while dressed in retro fashion and playing vintage guitars.
While the show features pastiche film clips and laugh-along gags, the group led by Nick Dagger also perform accurate renditions of the Stones’ biggest hits.
