A top events venue based in Potters Bar is welcoming a show dedicated to swing music throughout the ages led by an award-winning performer.
Fans of classic and contemporary swing music in Potters Bar will get a chance to indulge their favourite genre this spring. Wyllotts Theatre has announced that a production called “The Story of Swing” will be gracing its stage in March for a single-night performance.
The theatre and cinema’s familiar Logo Design of a multi-coloured star is a symbol synonymous with the arts in Potters Bar. Now it is inviting swing music enthusiasts to enjoy the well-received show designed to take them on an inspiring journey that stretches from the days of Frank Sinatra’s Rat Pack to modern crooners like Michael Bublé and Robbie Williams.
The production is delivered by gifted trumpet player and award-winning singer, Gareth John with support from the SOS Big Band and coves decades of swing music. The show features beloved classics from celebrated artists like Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Sammy Davis Jr as well as songs by Harry Connick Jr. and Matt Goss, among others.
The Story of Swing will be on stage at Wyllotts Theatre on Saturday, March 22. Ticket prices start at £32 per person and the show will begin at 7.30 pm. The theatre and cinema is simple to find at Wyllotts Place in Potters Bar.
