The Potters Bar Sainsbury’s has been raising money for Potters Bar Children with Special Needs. It has announced its future fundraising efforts for the next year will support the Fire Fighters Charity (FFC). This organisation provides a range of assistance to individuals who have contributed to the fire services.
The Sainsbury’s in question takes a partnership approach. This resulted in over £3750 being raised for children with special needs. This year, a vote means that any resources will go to needy people who have previously served in the fire and rescue sector. Karen Staples is the store manager. Ms Staples told the Welwyn Hatfield Times:
“We’re really excited to be working with The Fire Fighters Charity supporting such a fantastic cause. Everyone at Potters Bar Store is looking forward to working together for a successful partnership.”
This local charity initiative has been around for about a decade. Stationery printers in Potters Bar can be useful to those involved in the local third sector to promote their own fundraising initiatives.
Sainsbury’s outlets all launch their partnerships on the same weekend. Everything should be up and running in early August. The FFC has been in existence for approximately 75 years. It was originally established to deliver help to the families of people who had perished while working in the Second World War.
