Performing arts classes, organised by Jigsaw Performing Arts, will be held this autumn in Potters Bar.
The classes are aimed at children aged between seven and 18 years of age and seek to develop theatrical and acting skills, as well as promote self-expression and build up an individual's confidence. There are also the added benefits of learning new social skills and fostering self-esteem by participating in the shared, fun experience of drama, song and dance.
Each child attends one three-hour session, held on a weekly basis and led by a professional tutor. The session itself is broken down into an hour for each activity. There is normally an end of term performance held before friends and family, but this depends to a large extent on the school's choice of either a show or a presentation term.
The full term of classes costs £284, though a fortnight’s trial period and sibling discounts are available. It should have wide appeal and junior classes are also on offer, with all enquiries being directed towards the organiser. Printing services can be particularly useful when it comes to promoting a future class or course such as this to a wider audience.
The Jigsaw Performing Arts classes will take place every Saturday from 10am to 1pm between 26th September and 5th December at Dame Alice Owens School, Potters Bar.
