Potters Bar puts on the shades

The Roy Orbison Story with Barry Steele and Friends will be coming to Potters Bar in mid-November

Sunglasses-wearing 1960s icon Orbison sang many of the heaviest, darkest and most emotional ballads of the era. Barry Steele has long been entertaining audiences with his impressive vocal skills in recreating the voice of the star, and this has won him numerous positive reviews.

He is now presenting a new show, the Roy Orbison Story, that seeks to reintroduce ‘The Bog O’ to rock and roll by putting a modern slant on the music and giving his legacy a contemporary feel. It is this innovative combination that delivers something distinctive and original as an evening's entertainment.

The show should appeal to a broad range of people of all ages, from dedicated fans to a much younger generation who simply want to learn more about the era. It is a musical romp through time with the cast delivering a fusion of classic hits and more recent material.

Information about ticket prices can be obtained directly from the theatre's box office, and it is advisable to check the event closer to the date. Printing services can be an invaluable tool in the proper presentation of any artistic production.

The Roy Orbison Story will take place between 6:30 pm and 9:00 pm on Friday, November 13 at Wyllyotts Theatre and Cinema, Potters Bar.
