The annual carnival in Potters Bar will once again be taking place this summer.
In June, the town’s streets will come alive with all manners of weird and wonderful activities and entertainment. The carnival regularly features fairground rides, live performances, football matches and a range of food and drink stalls, together with a variety of other exciting attractions.
Organisers of events such as this will often use flyer printing services to advertise and generate as much interest as possible.
Amongst the many activities and attractions planned for the day, for many, the highlight of the festival will be the popular street procession, which is traditionally led by the carnival’s ‘young VIP’.
In preparation for the event, the carnival’s organisers are currently inviting applications from those hoping to be awarded this honour for 2019. Applicants must be aged between 7 and 12 years and, in addition to taking up their position in pride of place at the head of the procession, will also be awarded a prize of £25. The youngster will be chaperoned throughout the day and will be able to browse the stalls once the procession is complete.
