Potters Bar hosts evening with footballer

A well-known Arsenal footballer will be conversing in 'An Evening With Frank Stapleton' in Potters Bar towards the end of April.

Frank was a prolific striker, being good in the air. He began as an apprentice at Arsenal, making his first full team debut taking on Stoke City in 1975, and a goal-scoring partnership soon developed with Malcolm Macdonald.

The attacking forward proved to be the 'Gunners' top hit-man for a trio of successive seasons. This included a goal against Manchester United leading their FA Cup Final victory of 1979. In total, scoring 108 times in 300 matches.

Frank moved to Manchester United, for a fee of £900,000, in 1981, winning two FA Cups only to leave in 1987, after having netted 78 goals in exactly 365 appearances. He then played for amongst others Ajax Amsterdam before finishing his career at Brighton & Hove Albion.

In the course of the conversation, Frank and Perry Goves will discuss their experiences in the game. There will also be a raffle, a Q & A session and a chance to bid for football memorabilia.

Standard tickets cost £13.50 but there is also a VIP package. Printing services can be a valuable resource when planning a forthcoming personal appearance or theatrical event.

'An Evening With Frank Stapleton' has a starting time of 8pm on Thursday 21st April at The Wyllyotts Theatre, Potters Bar.
