Potters Bar Football Club opens fresh facilities

Potters Bar Football Club has invested in new facilities for the next season, enabling them to prepare with confidence.

The club has invested £200,000 in fresh facilities and is poised to showcase its amenities to the public at a special event. Poster printing from Potters Bar can be used to add colour to a wide variety of occasions.

As part of the project, the old clubhouse has been refurbished and now features a modern heating system. Importantly, the quality of the servery area and the kitchen was upgraded. In addition, the roof was replaced.

The changes were crucial to the club as the stadium is now compliant with criteria established by the Football Association. The renovations were necessitated because the team secured promotion during the course of last season.

The funds for the transformation came from different sources. The Premier League supplied £150,000 towards the project, while Sport England stepped up to the plate with £50,000. The grant from Sport England was from the Inspired Facilities Fund, while the resources of the Premier League were channelled from the Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF).

The Premier League puts over £6 million into the FSIF on an annual basis. Lower-league football benefits a great deal as a result. The delivery of safety and comfort is essential for the wellbeing of ordinary football supporters.
