New theatre show set to hit Potters Bar stage

A production featuring music and lyrics by famous composer Cole Porter is coming to a well-known venue in Potters Bar later this spring.

People in Potters Bar with a love of stage musicals won’t want to miss a theatrical run headed for the town in May. Wyllyotts Theatre & Cinema has announced a five-date stint for a production of “Anything Goes” with tickets priced between £17 and £23 per person.

Theatres, concert halls and playhouses often work with professional printing services to create informative signage that lists performances and their details for ticket buyers.

The upcoming edition of the musical features the original script by P.G. Wodehouse, Russel Crouse, Howard Lindsay and Guy Bolton, updated by writers John Weidman and Timothy Crouse (son of Russel Crouse). However, it still features the famous numbers created by Cole Porter including “You’re the Top”, “I Get a Kick Out of You” and the title song “Anything Goes”.

The show is produced by North London’s acclaimed amateur theatre society Elods. The company is based in Winch Hill and regularly puts on performances at the theatre in Potters Bar.

The Wyllyotts Theatre & Cinema will present Anything Goes from Tuesday, May 13 to Saturday, May 17. Shows will start at 7:30pm with an additional matinee performance scheduled for 2pm on the Saturday.
