Ex star of X Factor set to hit Potters Bar

A former star of both Brookside and the X Factor is set to hit Potters Bar in March, as part of his latest tour called Dare to Dream.

Actor and singer Ray Quinn will be performing in the Wyllyotts Theatre, near Darkes Lane, as he follows up his recent Get Your Act Together reality TV triumph with a UK tour featuring 20 dates.

Quinn has spent most of the past year in a recording studio, putting together the tracks for his next album, which is also called Dare to Dream, and is scheduled for release in April.

His last recording, an EP entitled Old Soul, Young Blood, hit the number two spot in the pre-order charts at iTunes.

Quinn’s upcoming show is expected to attract plenty of local interest, and flyer printing in Potters Bar is almost certain to be utilised to make sure it is properly advertised.

In an interview, Quinn said:

“After the success of my first album back in 2007, I’ve had time to grow as an artist.

“I’m now doing songs that I’m writing from my experiences and through maturity in the industry.”

Having risen to fame in Brookside, Quinn entered the X Factor in 2006 and finished as runner up. He will be performing in the Wyllyotts Theatre on Friday, 13th March.
