Wine tasting experience offered in Oxford

A wine tasting event is set to take place in Oxford next month.

The ‘World of Wine’ tasting day is developed for those interested in learning about wine in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. The aim of the event is to offer those attending the chance to advance their understanding of wine and grow confidence in their tasting skills. It’s been created to appeal to a wide range of enthusiasts from novices to budding sommeliers.

The day will be held at the Old Bank Hotel on Oxford High Street. The hotel has played host to all of the popular World of Wine experience days, which have taken place for 10 years. Those running events can sometimes benefit from brochure printing services to create colourful Booklets to hand out to guests.

As well as the opportunity to taste a hand-picked selection of wines, those attending can learn new tasting skills while conversing about wine. There will be a three-course lunch, which will teach how to match different wines with assorted flavours found in food.

All taking part will receive two Notebooks to take home. The World of Wine notebook provides handy references, including varieties of grapes and the major wine regions. The personal tasting notebook can be used to jot down experiences from the session.

The Oxford wine tasting day will start at 10:30am and finish at 4pm on Saturday, January 11.
