Those living in Oxford are set to have a new option when it comes to buying beauty products, with Space NK, the upmarket chain, launching an outlet in the city during September.
This new store will be located at number 114, on the High Street, in a unit that used to be home to the fashion retail outlet Gerry Weber. It will provide jobs for seven people living in Oxford, with the branch manager for the store having already been hired, but sales staff and assistant manager positions remaining vacant.
A spokeswoman for the chain store, Jini Sanassy, stated that Space NK had been keen to branch out into the Oxford area for several years now, although she added that this will remain the only Oxfordshire store for the foreseeable future. She told the Oxford Times:
“We listened to customers on social media and Oxford has been a request area for us for a long time. It’s been on our radar, so when this property came up it was perfect.”
A number of different beauty products are stocked within the Space NK stores, including ones for men’s grooming, perfume, haircare, skincare, and cosmetics items. The Oxford branch is due to launch on September 9.
