You Me At Six is due to play a gig, much-anticipated by many, in Oxford at the beginning of July.
Currently one of Britain's biggest rock groups, particularly among fans of genres like pop punk and post-hardcore, their output in a 15-year music career has been prolific with five UK Top 10 albums and four gold records. These have included a number one hit in "Cavalier Youth" and 17 BBC Radio 1 A-List singles.
Outside of the UK, the band sold out multiple headline US tours, achieving a number one rock track in Australia with "Room To Breathe" which was also a Rock Radio Top Five hit in the US.
The band's 2018 album "VI" witnessed a sharp change of direction. Sunday Times Culture declared that they "rip up the rule book" and instead, choose to "disco-dip their basslines" creating "a sixth album shot through with fun". Meanwhile, The Independent described it as a "big return to form".
This appearance coincides with the launch of their seventh album, "Suckapunch", and is supported by the city’s independent music hub Truck Store. Tickets range in price from £18.20 to £33.40 inclusive of a booking fee. Promotional Products can be commercially lucrative and garner musicians some valuable extra publicity.
