The annual Cowley Classic Car Show, a traditional Rotary Club event, is due to be held in Oxford at the end of August.
This year, over 200 classic cars and vehicles of all ages and marks are participating. There is much to satisfy the enthusiast and intrigue the curious. Those attending also have the opportunity to take a free trip around the city on a vintage bus.
Plenty of food and drink will be on-site as well as a selection of stalls offering a wide range of goods for purchase. The entertainment comes in the form of a host of exhibits and attractions. These include kids rides, laser clays, battery-powered go-karts, and a dog show that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Each year a great deal of effort is expended in improving the show and making it bigger and better. The present format is popular, although, it has been decided to bring the event forward by one hour in order to ensure an earlier conclusion.
