Jayde Adams, the award-winning comic, and her Men I Can Save You tour is due to arrive in Oxford at the end of September.
This multi-faceted entertainer and actress hails from a working-class Britolian background. She is a circuit regular who trained as a dancer, can sing opera, rap and draw as well as play the piano.
Jayde is an Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer nominee. The popularity of her 2019 show at the Fringe, titled The Ballad of Kylie Jenner's Old Face, led to its release on Amazon Prime in 2020. Indeed, it was subsequently Emmy listed and achieved views in excess of 156 million.
In 2021 she starred in the BBC Two BAFTA-winning series, written by Sophie Willan, Alma’s Not Normal. She also co-hosts both Channel 4's Snackmasters with Fred Siriex and the successful Crazy Delicious on Netflix.
Her other television credits include appearances on the comedy institution 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Sick Note on Sky 1 with Rupert Grint and Nick Frost and Channel 5's Borderline. Jayde is about to feature in Take That's new movie Greatest Days.
