Major food festival to come to Oxford

Oxford is set to host a three-day festival dedicated to food and drink featuring live music this summer.

Oxford residents with a love of fine food and music are in for a treat, as August will see popular Oxfordshire greenspace South Park welcome an event called “The Foodies Festival”. This happening will run for three consecutive days filled with enviable eating and drinking experiences.

A wide range of carefully curated vendors will be onsite, allowing festivalgoers a chance to try an extensive selection of food and drink. Culinary companies with a presence at festivals sometimes order paper napkins and disposable Menus featuring their Logo Design from expert printers for diners to use.

Described as the nation’s biggest celebration dedicated to food, the event will feature an abundance of skilled chefs including MasterChef champion Thomas Frake, award-winning pastry chef Graham Hornigold, Great British Menu winner Kate Austen and Gary and Jay from the Dishy Dads podcast, among many others.

Events and activities planned include the Cook’s School, the Chef’s Theatre, the Fire Stage, Kid’s Cookery, the Baking Theatre and the Drinks Theatre. There will also be a live music stage boasting headline acts for each day like Example, Blue and Scouting For Girls.

The Foodies Festival will now be in South Park from Saturday, August 23 to Monday, August 25. The parklands are based on Headington Road in Oxford.
