Folk-rock star pencilled in for Oxford

The Canadian singer/songwriter Bruce Cockburn is on tour and due to perform in Oxford towards the end of August.

Scheduled to take place at the O2 Academy, the concert is bound to showcase the musical legend’s unique set of skills to Oxford audiences for the first time in over five years.

With this in mind, the gig is set to be a highly anticipated event for music lovers. Often, promoters of events such as musical concerts and other Forms of performance see poster printing as an effective way of gaining publicity for a future concert or musical event.

Cockburn is an authentic, original and prolific musical artist who has embraced folk, southern blues and world music throughout his storied career. He is also an innovative guitarist. He previously released a record every few years, beginning with his 1970 self-titled debut album.

2017's 'Bone to Bone' was Bruce's 33rd album. It consisted of 11 new tracks. The artist’s renowned finger-picking style features on songs such as '3 Al Purdy,' 'Jesus Train' and the more bluesy 'Cafe Society'. 'O Sun O Moon' is his most recent release.

Tickets for the show cost £38.50. This is inclusive of a transaction fee.

Bruce Cockburn's show has a starting time of 7pm on Thursday, August 23 at O2 Academy, Oxford.
