Scottish band Travis soared to fame thanks to the huge success of their second album ‘The Man Who”. This was released in 1999 and produced smash hit singles like ‘Why Does It Always Rain On Me’ and ‘Writing to Reach You.’ It turned the Glasgow four-piece into household names and saw them win a raft of prizes, including Ivor Novello and BRIT awards.
The band are set to release their new album this month, which is titled ‘LA Times’. It is their 10th and they will promote it with a tour of the country that will mark their first major live shows in two years.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Travis vocalist Fran Healey said:
“LA Times is our most personal album since ‘The Man Who’. There was a lot of big stuff to write about back then, the tectonic plates had shifted in my life.”
Travis will play Leeds on 5th December.
