One of the country’s top rugby league stars will be taking part in an annual festive fun run in Leeds this year, as a finale to his latest fundraising challenge.
Kevin Sinfield has put his name down for the 2025 Leeds Santa Dash, which will be the conclusion to his ‘7 in 7 Challenge’. This is a charity fundraiser that sees him run a total of seven ultra-marathons in as many days. The purpose of the challenge is to raise funding for research into motor neurone disease and Sinfield has brought in over £10 million for that cause in recent years.
He was inspired to take on the first ‘7 in 7 Challenge’ after one of his teammates at Leeds Rhinos was diagnosed with the condition. He has since successfully completed it no less than five times.
Now, he is going to conclude his latest attempt with the Santa Dash. This is a 3km event that is open to people of all abilities and ages, with many opting to run while wearing Santa outfits.
When it comes to promoting local events like this, poster printing by Leeds shops can be useful.
Sinfield stated that he was excited to be able to enter the Santa Dash and that he hoped lots of people would come out to support the runners. It will take place on 7 December.
