One of the most popular and long-running girl groups in the UK is set to embark on a tour of the country next year, and Leeds will be among the places that they visit during it.
The Sugababes were formed all the way back in 1998, with their debut album coming out two years after that. It produced the hit single ‘Overload’, but then main singer Siobhan Donaghy quit the band. Her place was taken by Heidi Range and the band went on to enjoy considerable commercial success, both with albums and singles.
They also experienced numerous line-up changes over the following years. At one point, there was a version of the Sugababes with no original members. The founding trio of Donaghy, Keisha Buchanan and Mutya Buena got back together 13 years ago though and they will tour the UK during 2025.
One of the places that they will be coming to is Leeds. The venue for their show in the city is set to be the First Direct Arena and tickets for it are sure to sell fast. Venues that host live concerts often use poster printing from Leeds shop to help stimulate demand.
The band announced its arena tour using Instagram. It promised some exciting surprises for fans, as well as all of the big hits.
Sugababes will be in Leeds on 8th April.
