Plans for Christmas Market in Leeds to be bigger than ever

The Christmas Market is set to return to Leeds for the 2023 festive season, and it could be bigger and more successful than ever before, according to the latest news.

The market is based on its counterparts held in German cities and towns every year. The 2023 one will be the first to hit the city in four years, and Leeds City Council has agreed a deal with an organisation called Market Place Europe. It will see the company take charge of the event over a three-year period, starting with this year.

It looks like that could translate into a more expansive market, with plans to open out into various streets and other spaces within the centre of Leeds. In previous years, the Christmas Market has been restricted to Millennium Square.

If the organisers are planning to grow the event this year, promotional poster printing from Leeds shops could be helpful to make sure that they get the right sort of response from people living in the town.

According to Leeds Live, a council spokesperson said:
“Building on the huge success of the Ice Cube at Christmas and other attractions introduced around Millennium Square last year, the council is working with Market Place Europe to expand and improve the Christmas Market offer in Leeds.”

The market will run from 24th November to 17th December.
